GESSO Primer

White or transparent water based primer for porous surfaces preparation. It is used to reduce their absorbency, smooth them and ensure final color homogeneity. One coat is usually enough. If we desire a smoother surface we apply two coats, sanding after each layer is fully dried. On high gloss surfaces sanding is recommended prior the application of the primer. Suitable for all surfaces, with excellent adhesion and resistance. Dries quickly and can be coloured with MaxiDecor Acrylic paints. The transparent primer is recommended for highlighting dark shades of Chalky Paint, dark Acrylic and Metallic Colors, as well as to increase the adhesion of techniques applied to surfaces where we want to maintain their natural color. Apply with brush, sponge or paint roller, with the corresponding texture results. If desired, dilute with deionised water. Ready to use.
